Feb 20 – Scott McKay, Daniel Erspamer, and Dr. Cade Brumley

February 20 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm CST

$60.00

Please join us for an evening of fun as we learn more about the Louisiana Freedom Caucus, the Pelican Institute Legislative Agenda, and the projected changes in the state education system.

Scott McKay heads up the Louisiana Freedom Caucus which is fashioned after the US House of Representatives Freedom Caucus.  Members of the legislature are invited to join the Caucus based on their voting record and adherence to bold conservative values.  He will fill us in on his many published books and his latest achievement — an interview with Tucker Carlson.

The Pelican Institute is the premier think tank for Louisiana.  The various initiatives of the Institute include the opportunity policy, education, tax and budget policy, justice, health, etc.  They also host a Pelican Leadership Academy each year.  Their outlook can best be described as “Happy Warriors.”

Dr. Cade Brumley, Louisiana State Superintendent of Education.  Dr. Cade Brumley is a product of Louisiana schools who has invested his career into improving the lives of students and moving his state forward. Dr. Brumley has served Louisiana as a teacher, coach, school leader, and school system leader. He was appointed Louisiana State Superintendent in May 2020 during the height of the global pandemic. Under his bold leadership, Louisiana has safely reopened schools, accelerated academic recovery, launched a reading revival, and expanded educational freedom.
