Please join us as we welcome Louisiana State Treasurer and gubernatorial candidate, John Schroder, and American Hero, Craig Wiles, who was among the fellow Americans who was evacuated from the US Embassy in Kabul.
John Schroder was elected Louisiana State Treasurer in 2017, was re-elected in 2019. As a businessman and entrepreneur, he believes government should manage its money like you manage your businesses and households. In addition, he thinks government should be more transparent and accountable, which would help restore faith in government. He will speak on his plans to change Louisiana as governor.
Also, he will research and see if anyone who is on our list of attendees (who have made a reservation by April 5) who has any unclaimed property and will bring them a check.
Mr. Giles is a drug enforcement administration agent who has a long and storied career. He served at the US Embassy in Kabul as the Director of Forward Operations (SES) until the August 15, 2021 evacuation. He is looking forward to sharing his experiences with us.
