September 15 – Silly Songs for Safety

Join us for an evening of silly, satirical songs as we bring some much-needed levity to the political landscape. State Rep Beryl Amedee will be our honored guest. Beryl and her husband are pastors and work with victims of domestic violence who are so often the casualties of gun violence.

Justin Brown of EmpowerYouNola is our other honored guest.
Our focus this evening is to honor the women in Orleans Parish who are the victims of gun violence. What better way to honor them than to sponsor situational awareness, gun law/safety classes for women in Orleans Parish from EmpowerYouNola? This organization is at the forefront in the New Orleans area protecting citizens by giving active crime information before it hits the news. It is a trusted community asset.
UPDATE: We have received a generous donation from Billy Nungesser for this event. We are grateful to Louisiana’s Best Host!
